Maalouf, President & CEO of Rogers & Callcott. “We have found in ATG a partner that will allow us to continue to nourish the legacy of commitment to our clients and quality of our work that has been perpetuated throughout our 55-year history. We are excited about combining our services and resources to bring an even wider array of solutions to our clients.”
Success Through Strength in Teamwork
Rogers & Callcott is a full service consultancy and laboratory offering its clients environmental and engineering consulting and chemical analysis with locations in Greenville, SC (headquarters) and Columbia, SC. We are fully employee-owned and are dedicated to maintaining long-term partnerships with our clients by delivering consistently high quality and services specific to client needs. We’re proud of the fact that our first client in 1969 is still a customer today and that a high percentage of our clients are ongoing relationships.
What sets our company apart is our integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to providing solutions. We are one of the few environmental engineering firms in the southeast that operates a full-service, nationally accredited environmental laboratory on site. Our geologists, engineers and environmental specialists work closely with our laboratory scientists and analysts to enable Rogers & Callcott to provide highly accurate, timely, team-inspired approaches.
“Call It As You See It” – Our Legacy of Integrity Begins
The synergy benefits of having both environmental consulting and laboratory services under one roof dates back to Rogers & Callcott’s beginning in 1969. Company founder, Jim Rogers, strongly believed that the laboratory analytical side of environmental consulting was integral to serving the best interests of the client. Sharing his philosophy, Frank Callcott, another highly regarded environmental engineer in the Greenville area, teamed up with Rogers and the firm became Rogers & Callcott in 1975.
Jim’s “Call it as You See It” commitment to serving clients runs deep in Rogers & Callcott’s culture, success, and the mission of its leadership all these decades later. The backbone of our approach to providing solutions starts by first looking at the facts and giving an honest assessment of the client’s concern, which becomes the touchstone for evaluating technical, financial and regulatory implications for all stakeholders.
Our Mission
The employee-owners of Rogers & Callcott share a sincere desire to provide our clients with consistent, high-quality service.
We work in earnest for the success of our clients, believing their success drives the success of our company and the success of our own careers.
We strive to maintain long-term client relationships through a continuous demonstration of personal pride in our work.
Employee Owned = Outstanding Customer Service
We take pride in maintaining a corporate culture that focuses on our most valuable asset –our people. The commitment to our employees is reflected in the consistency of our leadership. Over our 50+ years in business, there have been just three Presidents of Rogers & Callcott – Jim Rogers, followed by Sam Avery then its current President and CEO George Maalouf, both longtime employees who were promoted from within the company.
Over the years, our company has grown from 2 to 65 employees, and all are owners of the company. Each employee is issued stock as an employee benefit which is bought back when they retire or leave. This solidifies our commitment to provide a secure, financially viable environment for our employees. It is also an incentive for the employee to stay and do well. By doing well, all benefit – the client, the employee and the company as a whole.
In taking ownership of the firm, we in turn take on ownership of our client’s concerns. We own the company. We own the work. We own our customer’s problems and solutions.
The importance of client satisfaction in a company’s success was ingrained in me very early in my career. Over the years, one realizes that client satisfaction can only be achieved by professionals who are committed to their career and enjoy their work environment, so we are really in it all together.
-George Maalouf, President & CEO
